Biography

Kunihiko Higa received a PhD in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona in 1988. He was a faculty member at Georgia Institute of Technology and then at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is currently a professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology. His research interests include telework, database analysis/design methodology, database/ knowledgebase integration, and well structured rule base design. He has published in the Communications of ACM, DSS, and many other academic journals. He is currently an executive board member of Japan Telework Society (J@TS) and serving as the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Japan Telework Society. He is a member of ACM, AIS, INFORMS, IRMA, JASMIN, and J@TS.
